“ Working within Rotork is always exciting as the range of activities you can be involved in means you are always being challenged, improving your knowledge and capability, and ultimately provides a rewarding job...”
With a passion for maths and physics, coupled with close relatives with an engineering background, it made logical sense for me to study Engineering at University. With a Doctorate in Fluid Mechanics and a history with IMI Precision engineering, I have now been working within a management role for the last eight years, supporting a number of teams at different locations across the UK and joined Rotork at their Wolverhampton site in 2017.
It has been an exciting journey, with each role providing their own challenges, but the variety of activities I am involved in has always kept each job interesting with the possibility to constantly learn new skills and expand my capabilities. The current management position within Rotork provides an opportunity to guide and support the Engineering team as they work on a range of projects, passing on my experience to allow them to improve their own capability and deliver unique engineering solutions. As a global business your involvement in projects is often not just at a site level and Rotork provides opportunities to participate in projects across teams, geographic locations and industries.
