“I am proud to be part of a world-class company and look forward to my future adventure at Rotork.”
Since school I have loved maths and science, but particularly the practical and hands-on aspects which drove me to choose engineering as my career. I was awarded a Degree and a PhD in Chemical Engineering, completed in 2000 and 2004 respectively.
I joined Rotork in 2004 as an Inside Sales Engineer, and after a few years I moved to the technical training department to manage product training from sales to service for all Rotork employees and customers. This change allowed me to fully utilise my technical background and travel all over the world, building on my skills from both a professional and personal point of view.
In 2017, alongside training I started to manage new product introduction for the fluid power actuators, working closely with the R&D and marketing departments. This further enhanced my product knowledge adding not only technical, but also process information. My current position of Product Manager Heavy Duty Actuator started in 2019. It’s a new challenge for me with a lot to learn and I’m looking forward to developing my skills and knowledge further.
