IQT3 Battery Backup intelligent part-turn electric actuator provides valve fail-safe operation by utilising power from a battery source during AC supply mains failure. On loss of supply the actuator automatically switches over to receive power from a 24 VDC supply allowing control of the valve to the pre-configured position.

• IQT3 Battery Backup actuators have the same performance and features of the IQT3 actuator
• Provides electrical operation after loss of mains power, allowing the valve to be operated to a safe position or controlled for a period of up to 30 minutes
• On loss of mains supply, power is provided from integral batteries located in an extended version of the terminal cover
• With mains power applied to the actuator, the batteries are charged from the actuator
• Modulating duty, full-turn and multiport options
• Watertight and explosionproof to international standards
• Benefitting from design features and industry-leading reliability of the intelligent IQ3 range
